Restorative Yoga

Easing Fatigue and Stress

This sequence can help counteract the effects that long term fatigue can have on posture as well as physical and emotional stress. You will find yourself feeling calm, deeply refreshed and feel energy starting to build from within.

Restore yoga for Fatigue

This deeply restorative sequence moves from a seated meditation to gentle stretches to supported yoga asanas to allow for all systems of the body to recover. The sequence will end with a Body Scan Meditation.

Sitting meditation

Starting in an upright sitting position, the posture helps you bring your awareness to the body and the present moment. The aim of the practice is to let go of all judgement and goals. Meditation is the practice of seeing things as they really are, it allows you to do this by focusing on the present moment.

Meditation can improve your life and self in profound ways, and it allows you to develop concentration of mind.

Supported Yoga Asanas

Supported backbend asana to open the chest and pelvis.
Supported inverted asana for calming and soothing the nervous system.
Supported forward bend asana for soothing frazzled nerves.

Body Scan Meditation

During a body scan, you mentally scan over every part of your body from your head to your toes. By letting thoughts go and letting your mind relax as you focus on your body, you may find that you gain more energy and improved alertness afterward.

Recommended for everyone who knows they need rest and rejuvenation.
